Miss Tepen Bride
The Rev. Francis E. Cunningham officiated at the wedding of Miss Mary Ann Tepen of Carrollto n and Michael B. Ritter of Jerseyville Saturday in St. John's Catholic Church, Carrollton.
The couple received friends in the Knights of Columbus Hall following the 3 p.m. nupital Mas s at which Mrs. George Schnelten sang, accompanied by Mrs. Lela Thien.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Tepen of Carrollton, and is employed in Alt on by Owens-Illinois. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Joseph Ritter and the late Mr.
Ritter of Jerseyville.
The bodice, sleeves and skirt motifs on the bride's silk organza gown were .etched with pearl s. A full lace cage back extended to fonn a full sweep train. Her illusion veil was fastene d by a half-moon headpiece of fabric leaves, and her bouquet contained white
roses and stephanotis.
Mrs. Fred Walther, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. Miss Pat Berry and Miss Car ol Dunham were bridesmaids, and Penny Ritter was flower girl. David Tepen
was ring bearer.
The women attendants, who appeared in gowns of pale pink dotted Swiss trimmed at the
bouice with white Venise lace, wore matching hats with daisies, and carried baskets of pink d aisies.
Larry Heitzig of Jerseyville was best man. Mr. Ritter was also attended by Bill Powers and Ji m Molloy, Norman and Jerome Tepen, Barry and Robert Ritter and Fred Walther.
The bride is a graduate of Carrollton Community High School, served four years with the Air F orce and is employed by the Jersey County Motor Co.
The couple will live at 306 Barr Ave., Jerseyville.
