  	Lorenzo Moler enlisted in the service of the United States at Madison, in the State of Indiana on the 7th day of December 1863, as a private in Company K commanded by Captain Litson in the 22nd Regiment of Indiana Inft. Vols. in the war of 1861; was wounded on 17th of March 1865, died on 21st 1865 who while in the service aforesaid, and in the line of his duty was killed in the Battle of Bentonsville by a musket ball to the head while in the line of duty at Bentonsville in the State of North Carolina on the 21st day of March A.D., 1865. findagrave
