  Notes	Lydia Helm was a native of Kentucky (other records say she was born in Owen, Indiana). She married James Beaman on October 27, 1831 in Owen County, Indiana. James and Lydia had 12 children together. They divorced on January 1, 1856 in Owen County, Indiana. James remarried and died April 6, 1906 in Owen County, Indiana two weeks before his 94th birthday. Lydia's sons Samuel Simpson Beaman and William Riley Beaman were farmers in Christian County, Illinois. Samuel is also buried in Antioch Cemetery with other family members.
