Subject: [BONHAM] George Bonham
If there is a marriage record in Suffolk County, Eng. for a George Bonham and
Marye Byshopp in 1598: Suffolk: - Registers of Marriages (Various Parishes),
1539-1837
Marriages at Withersdale, 1660 to 1837.
Marriages at Somerleyton, 1558 to 1837.
Volume 1.
County: Suffolk
Country: England
George Bonham, gent., & Marye Byshopp 18 Dec 1598
Then our George Bonham, born in 1604, could not have married Mary Bishop,
unless she was a cousin or something. Or unless he was born earlier than 1604.
Something I pulled up today indicated that Sarah Morton was his second wife:
"Bonham, George, of Plymouth, married Dec. 20 as second wife, Sarah, daughter of
George Morton and had Sarah, Patience, and Ruth.
Savages Gen. Dict. Vol. I, page 211."
