findagrave posted by Tina Anderson:
Born to Onezime and Georgette Rainey Guidry, Arthur became a barber in Beaumont, Texas. His mother was Cherokee Indian and Arthur had a love for his "Firewater", cold biscuits and coffee! He used to bribe his great grandchildren to hide his whiskey from his wife Beulah whom would chase him on occasion with a butcher knife, calling him a "White haired Devil" when he drank too much. He was to say the least, a character!

Me too. I'd seen it as well but just can't explain it. We've got no Mexicans in the family. We're all French, Canadian, Irish, English, German, Scottish and Native American. So bizarre. Maybe his father fled to Mexico and was hiding out for some reason, lol.
Yeah, Arthur's mother was a full blood Cherokee and I even saw some documents that said "Claims mother is full blood Cherokee". I think it was on his draft card registration somewhere. Its been so long since I've seen it.
He looked it too. Red skin, white, full head of hair. No hair on his chest and legs and arms. Firewater made him crazy, lol.
