Bought 150 acres from his father in 1807.
Obtained several land Tennessee land grants over the years.
On September 15, 1842, George sold 382 acres in Hawkins County for $1800.
George Beets died intestate.

"He was baptized John George on April 26, 1771 in Dryland Union Church, Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He lived there until 1784 when his father and family moved to Cumberland County, Pa. The family moved to Rockbridge County, Va in 1792. His father, George, Sr., moved to Hawkins County, Tennessee in 1798. In 1809 George, Jr. bought land from his father, George Beets, Sr. in Hawkins County, Tennessee, which he sold in 1842. He was in the 1830 and 1840 Hawkins County, Tennessee census, but in 1850 he was listed in the census of Blue Township, Jackson County, Missouri, saying born Germany. He is living close to his daughter Minerva and husband Salaethael Butts and family."
