Bro. Charles Hungerford and his hrs., and he to pay my bro. Barton Hungerford, full sum of 12,000 lbs. tobacco to entitle him the sd. Chas., to hold it, and if he refuses to pay sd. amount within six months after my decease,, then I desire sd. lands to belong to bro. Barton Hungerford.

Apr 20, 1782 from John Gwinn Jr of CC, to Jonathan Yates of CC, for 664 £, two tracts of land now in the possession of the afd John Gwinn Jr, they being part of a tract of land called Mitchells Platt (formerly purchased of William Cage by John Gwinn), lying in CC on the west side of Wiccomoco River, the let purchase being bounded by Mitchells Marsh, containing and laid out for about 108 acres. The 2nd purchase is bounded by the east line of the sd 1st purchase, the River, containing and laid out for about 58 acres.. Excepted is Mrs. Ann Gwinn's right of dower.
