Ephraim Potter to Thos Lovellaty Jun. deed for 100 acres
This Indenture made the twentieth day of August in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred & seventy two between Ephraim Potter of the County of Guilford & Province of North Carolina
of the one Part of Thomas Lovelatty, Junr of the same County & province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Ephraim Potter for & in consideration of the Sum of fifty Pounds Virginia Money to him in
hand paid by the said Thomas Lovelatty, Junr at or
before the sealing or delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowldged by the said Ephraim Potter hath granted, bargained & sold ? released & confirmed & by these presents
doth from himself & his heirs grant, bargain & sell ? release & confirm unto the said Thomas Lovelatty his heirs & assigns forever all that said tract & parcel of land containing by estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less lying & being in the said County & on
the north side of Woolf Island Creek it being part of a
tract of land granted to Enoch Lewis & by him conveyed to Ephraim Potter Senr & at his death descended to his son Ephraim Potter as his heirs at Law the present conveyer also all profits commodities
privileges advantages ?dtaments of appertenances whatsoever
to the said tract or parcel of land and confess above mentioned belonging or in any ?way/wife? appertaining & also the ? remainder & remainder rents of & services of the said premises of every part thereof and all the estate right of title property claim & demand
whatsoever as well in ?equity as in law of him the said Ephraim Potter & his heirs assigning to the said tract & parcel of land & confesses of every part thereof to have & to hold (too faded - Thos Lovelatty)
