Sources tell the SETPR that backhoes and cranes may begin tearing down the Southpark Middle School in no less than 72 hours even though Judge Bob Wortham ruled that his order stands for 70 + more days and that BISD will use non-bond money to do so. Even more shocking is the Findings and Fact of law - which opens the doors to a peak into the corruption at BISD. Here are just a few of the findings. "Dr David Teuscher, co-chairman of the CABC was an agent of the BISD as he was appointed by the BISD school board to speak for and promote for the passage of the November 2007 bond issue." "At a meeting of the Beaumont Downtown Rotary Club as well as at other venues prior to the November 2007 BISD bond election, Dr. Teuscher presented a power point presentation to members of the public that proclaimed that should the bond pass, the South Park building would not be bulldozed. (TEUSCHER LIED) "The testimony by BISD superintendent Dr. Carroll Thomas that he did not discuss the statement, that there would be no demolition of old South Park, which was to be published in a pamphlet and disseminated to the public prior to the November 2007 bond election with BISD information director Jolene Ortego is NOT CREDIBLE. (Thomas LIED) "Parsons/3DL, the project manager for the BISD bond construction program, was DIRECTED BY BISD ADMINISTRATION TO MAKE A RECOMMENDATION TO DEMOLISH the South Park school building instead of to attempt to renovate it." "Documents produced by BISD that show it might cost as much as 40 - 50 million dollars to renovate the South Park school building were unknown to chief estimator of Parsons/3DI, John Reagan, and are not credible. (BISD LIED) "BISD violated the Texas Open Meetings Act by deciding behind closed doors that the South Park School Building was to be demolished. (The Fix Was In) "BISD misled its citizens into believing that the South Park school building would not be demolished. (LIED) And then the BOMB SHELL! "The Court feels it is limited by the pleadings and the strict statute of limitations for election contest cases. Had this been an election contest case, the Court feels sufficient evidence was produced to require the Court to order a new bond election." What does all of the above say? They lied, the tried to cover up the lie, they lied again and they never had ANY INTENTION of saving South Park. And REPUBLICAN David Teuscher was not only a part of the lie - he pushed the lie in the community. And some of you ASK THIS WEB SITE WHY WE ARE SO ANGRY WITH THE JEFFERSON COUNTY GOP? And you democrats don't go giggling down the COURTHOUSE STEPS. You are just as guilty - those elected onto the school board are all democrats. Here is the bottom line folks - they lied to the public in order to pass the bond issue. And if anyone had brought it up 30 days post election - Judge Wortham would have overturned the election. WOW! WOW! WOW! To their face - Judge Wortham called all of them liars! And frankly - that is what they are. We think that the following needs to happen today : 1) Carroll Thomas should resign by days end and empty his office. It would be the honorable thing to do. He now has ZERO CREDIBILITY. None. We are done with him. 2) David Teucher should get on the news tonight - and in the paper over the weekend and PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE TO PEOPLE OF BISD AND SHOULD CALL FOR THOMAS'S RESIGNATION. 3) A lawsuit be filed by the people of BISD regarding violations of the open meetings act - and removal of the PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD AS WELL AS MAYBE EVEN RESIGNATION OF THE ENTIRE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, What this shows you the reader and taxpayers of Jefferson County is that we now have a judge with balls to stand up to BISD and their trustees. He called them out based upon FACTS. And BISD's response - they are going to take down the building outside of the Judges order? You wonder? Do you really wonder why Jefferson County is dying and NOBODY HAS FAITH IN THEIR ELECTED OFFICIALS? We here at the Review praise Judge Wortham for his honesty. And frankly for having someone tell the truth. But nothing will change. You will not hear for a call for resignations from the media! The Enterprise will fluff the story - it should be a HUGE HEADLINE STORY. Page two. That is what we hear unless they change their minds tonight. And maybe some in the media on the big three MIGHT GET IT? Maybe not. We think the media does not even understand what Wortham did today - he called what they did a huge lie that was precipitated by guess who? The $500k a year man. Wow - again - we say wow. He has to get out now. Leave. He is a cancer to our community that cannot be trusted.
