A big win for South Park and the Beaumont Heritage Society.

The court of appeals Friday upheld the temporary restraining order preventing BISD from tearing down South Park Middle School.

A trial will begin Monday morning to make the restraining order permanent.

Judge Bob Wortham issued the temporary restraining order in August.

In his ruling he implied that voters were misled to think that if the 2007 bond passed, South Park would survive.

The district has appealed the order.
