Notes: Family records of Helen Hays states Martha Hamilton was born in 1733 in Antrim, Ireland. She emigrated on Sep 21, 1746 on ship Rundell. James Maxfield assigns Martha Hamilton (a servant from Ireland) to William Allison of Lancaster County a yeoman for four years from Sept 21, 1746. She was married to John Allison (son of William Allison and Grizzel Wray). She was widowed in 1796, She died about 1825. According to Samuel McCaleb (b. 22 Jan 1813) states she was of Irish descent and "died at the advanced age of 105 or 106" and Samuel states "he remembers Grannie Mattie perfectly well". Family records of Helen Hayes places Martha Hamiltons date of death as 1838.
