    Deed Book # 4, p 372, Wellsburg, West Virginia, June 28, 1954 (sic) - copied from Elmer B. Hazie.
    In the body of the deed between Amariah Bonham and wife Rebecca and John Mathews of the other part for $333.33, a tract of land formerly Jacob Bonham's, dec'd on the waters of Crof(s)s Cross Creek in Brooke County... etc 53 poles to a whik corner to Thomas Madden's thence south 64 degrees, etc.
    This Rebecca is probably Elizabeth Rebecca Wiley listed on p 165 as marrying Amariah Bonham b Apr 1, 1773, to Jacob (son of Amariah and Mary Drake Bonham). His sister was married to John Mathews who bought Jacob's land.
