    Notes:

    The family migrated to Henry County, Georgia where Samel Jr. married Drucilla Towler on April 14, 1831. About 1839 Samuel and Drucilla Young Jr. moved their family to Randolph County, Alabama. They were the parents of eleven children.

    In 1864 Samuel Young Jr. enlisted in Captain Jefferson Falkners home guard militia. The militia served as a local defense and tracked down military deserters. After the war, Samuel and Drucilla lived in the Rock Mills and Big Springs section of the county. They conducted a small farm over the next twenty years. Samuel and Drucilla Young died between 1880 and 1900 in Randolph County and possibly buried at Big Springs.

    Notes:

    Some Internet trees show Samuel as son of Andrew Young and Isabella Nicholson, with Andrew being an Immigrant, and Isabella having died prior in England. There are other children shown whose birth dates range in the 1790s where Samuel was born 1765. It looks like Samuel does not belong to this Immigrant family.

    The other men shown here as brothers are simply other men in the same county and of the same age group named Young. No idea if they are related, just speculation.
