Lucille entered her eternal life at her residence in Beaumont.

She was born to Henry Burton McReynolds and Margaret Cokes McReynolds. She moved from Arkansas at the age of seventeen with her mother to Beaumont where she met the love of her life, Tommie Modica.

She married Tommie Pete Modica May 5, 1936 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and they were married forty-two years. Lucille and Tommie Modica owned and operated eleven gasoline service stations under the State Gas & Oil name throughout Southeast Texas. Their sons, Tommy, J.C., and Sam Modica followed in their father's footsteps and own and operate the Modica Brothers Tire Centers throughout Southeast Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Pete Modica, Sr.; son Tommy Pete Modica, Jr. and wife Joyce Modica; and great grandson, Travis Rogers.

Lucille is survived by her children, Jo Lena Modica Raimer and husband Kenneth W. Raimer, J. C. Modica, Gerri Modica, Sam Modica and wife Yvonne and Mary Modica; and a brother, Calvin McReynolds.

Lucille was the proud grandmother of G. A. Rogers and wife , Debbie Rogers Porter and husband, Lisa Modica McKinley and husband, Melanie Modica Young and husband, Anna Modica Hoffpaur, Sam Modica, Allison Modica McCarson and husband, Angela Modica Schwab and husband, Christina Modica Salinas and husband, Monica West, Joshua and Justin Modica; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild, Jaxon Tripp Washington.

John D. McReynolds was b. 1842 Crawford Co., Ark. He served in 1st AR Mounted Rifles from 1861-1865 when parolled at Greensboro, NC. He died in Yell Co., 7 Jan 1898. He is buried in McReynolds Family Cemetery Mablevale AR. 72103 according to National Cemetery Association / Veteran Gravesites 1775 - 2006.
