2. Elizabeth McDougle was born on 17 Jun 1791; died on 11 Aug 1837 in Rappahannock Co, Virginia.
3. William McDougle was born on 5 Oct 1792 in Flint Hill, Rappahannock Co, Virginia, or Culpeper Co, Virginia; died on 13 Oct 1858 in Delaware Co, Ohio; was buried in Berlin Cem, Berlin, Holmes Co, Ohio.
4. Benjamin McDougle was born on 3 Apr 1795 in Virginia; died on 15 Jul 1843 in Ohio.

John McDougle enlisted from Frederick Co.MD 21 April 1778 and was Discharged as dead 1 July 1778. He was a private in the Second Regiment MD Troops, John Eccleston Corp. commanded by Col. Thomas Price. He held the rank of private. He was hospitalized 15 June 1778 and died 1 July 1778, being in the service just 2 months and 11 days. He perhaps died at McClellandtown, PA. John was married to Charity DuVall on 20 Feb 1757 by Rev. William Brogden of Queen Anne Parish in Prince George's County. According to the 1776 census of St.
John's and Prince George's Parish, John was age 44 and Charity age 42; their household included males ages 17, 16, 13, 1* and females ages 15, 12, 7, 5; they had no slaves. In 1778 John and son Samuel,domiciled in Montgomery Co., Maryland, subscribed an oath of allegiance to the newly independent colonial government. John wrote his name and
Samuel made his mark.
