    Green B. Ferguson, 36, employee of the LEvingston Shipbuilding comany yard, died suddenly Saturday evening before he could be moved to a local hospital.
    Ferguson was a native of Orange. For several years he had worked at the municipal docks before joining the force at the Levingston ship yard. The family residence is at 515 South street in Bland addition.
    Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Louise F. Ferguson; two daughters, Laura Lou and Anna Lou, a son, John Henry Ferguson; his father Captain John Ferguson, locl harbormaster, a brother John Ferguson, Jr., in the U.S. navy; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Bates, Mrs. Loucille Johnston, Misses Beula and Georgia Ferguson, all of Orange.
    Funeral services were held from the Wheeler funeral chapter at 3 o'clock this afternoon with Rev. Jaroy Weber, pastor of the North Orange Baptist church, officiating, burial taking place in Evergreen cemetery under direction of the Wheeer funeral home.
    Active pallbearers were: Percy Bland, Ardis Thomas Lewis, Dick Burnett, Dick Johnston, Jimmie Lee, White, and Charles M. Colbert.

    40 Employed on Municipal Dock Repair
    Good progress is being made this week in the rebuilding of sections of the municipal docks where around 40 persons on the relief rolls are employed under the foremanship of Captain John Ferguson, city harbor master. The work is being inspected and it is done by a representative of the Missouri Pacific Railroad company, under whose instructions the municipal short line is operated. The work is being pushed as rapidly as possible with the view of having the docks in first class shape to take care of the big increase to take care of the big increase in shipping that is expected to develop in the very near future.

    Captain John Ferguson, Sr., local harbormaster, received a telegram Thursday stating that his sone John Ferguson, Jr., motor machinist mate first class, was critically ill at his station in New London, Connecticut, where he has been in training for some time. Ferguson, who was a former football star, had served for two and a half years in submarine service in the Pacific area before being assigned to the east coast for special training.

    Mrs. Ferguson dies at Home
    Mrs. Georgia Estelle Ferguson, died unexpectedly at the family residence at 708 Fourth Street at 10 o'clock Tuesday night. Survivors are her husband, Captain John Ferguson, two sons, G.B. and Johnny Ferguson, Jr., both of Orange; four daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Bates of Texas City; Mrs. Lucille Johnsston, of Liberty. Misses Beulah Mae and Georgia Estelle Ferguson, all of Orange; one sister, Mrs. Jessee Smith; two brothers, Ben and Fred Parker, also her father, A.D. Parker, all of Vinton.
    She had been a resident of Orange for 30 years and was a member of the First Baptist church.
    Funeral services for Mrs. Ferguson will be held at the Fuller funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. W.A. Corkern, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating; burial to take place in Evergreen cemetery under direction of the Fuller funeral home.
