    to LV:
No sources here, but I show that William m (1) Charlotte Holst abt 1815
    >(2) Nancy Lee 1819 - she died 1849 (3) Charlotte Ender 15 Oct 1851 Jefferson Co, TX. I don't have any of the kids.

That's curious. I have Nancy as #1, married about 1822 and Charlotte as #2, married after 1823. But I don't recall who sent me this info or if any sources came with it. We need to find out because if Nancy was #2, then she was mother of all of William's known children.

The marriage of William Carr and Charlotte (?) Ender is dated 30 Oct 1851 in _Jefferson County, Texas Marriage Records, 1837-1899_ compiled and published by Mrs. Frances Terry Ingmire. Charlotte was born in Germany and apparently the second wife of Jacob Ender. One of her step-children married one of William's sons.

William's children, all listed on the 1850 Jefferson Co census, were Levi, Rachel, John, Sarah, Mary Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Matilda, Serena, Alzena.
Alzena married John Jay Burrell, son of George and Nancy Eliza French.

Listed on 1844 Texas tax records.
