Robert Bruce Vieno was the son of Joseph H. and Mary C. Vieno. He was the brother of Clyde Vieno.

Bruce Vieno was with enumerated with his family on the US Census for Wood County, Texas in 1880. He eventually moved to Galveston, Texas and was listed in the city directory in 1896.

Robert married Agnes Maria Richardson about 1896. Their 3 sons were Robert Roy 1898, August Harold 1899 and Ollie 1904. (NOTE: Ollie was a McReynolds, from Agnes' 2nd marriage)

The family was enumerated on the US Census for Galveston, Texas in 1900. Robert Bruce Vieno was in Port Bolivar, Galveston County, Texas in 1910 where he is a single boarder and working. His family is in Beaumont, Jefferson County in 1910. (NOTE: this is likely not same Robert B because the one in Bolivar was a farmer and born in LA and our Robert Bruce born in Iowa and worked for railroad.)

J.G. is name Agnes' son Robert Roy gave as informant on her d.c. He did not know her mother's name; so Augustin is a bit more reliable.
