If there is a marriage record in Suffolk County, Eng. for a George Bonham and
Marye Byshopp in 1598: Suffolk: - Registers of Marriages (Various Parishes),
    1539-1837
Marriages at Withersdale, 1660 to 1837.
Marriages at Somerleyton, 1558 to 1837.
    Volume 1.
    County: Suffolk
    Country: England
George Bonham, gent., & Marye Byshopp 18 Dec 1598

Then our George Bonham, born in 1604, could not have married Mary Bishop,
unless she was a cousin or something. Or unless he was born earlier than 1604.
Something I pulled up today indicated that Sarah Morton was his second wife:
"Bonham, George, of Plymouth, married Dec. 20 as second wife, Sarah, daughter of
George Morton and had Sarah, Patience, and Ruth.
Savages Gen. Dict. Vol. I, page 211."

(..) married George Bonham, Sr on 28 Apr 1625 in Essex Co, England. George (son of William Bonham and Ann Babbington) was born in 1604 in Harworth, Nottingham, England; died on 28 Apr 1704 in Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
