also in 1810 in Frederick Co, Maryland are two R Brackenridge, probably a father/son. One over 45, the other aged 26-44. The elder has a boy and girl, probably teens (10-15) and the younger has a boy and 2 girls under 10.

on the same page is a Wm; over 45; and probably a couple, 16/25, and 2 slaves.

I have a certain amount of information on the descendent's of John and Elizabeth Breckenridge, Scottish background, who emigrated from Ireland to South Carolina. John died before 2 March, 1796. Family records indicates he was killed by a falling tree. They had three sons, Robert (b. 28 Sept, 1792), James (b. 1786) and David (b. 1788). Eventually all three settled in Jackson County, Arkansas.

I have the records of their descendent's if anyone needs them.

Just let me know.

(follow ups say James married a Nancy had a daughter Sarah who married Bryant W. Jones born in 1822, died 1902.

Headstone Inscriptions Ballykeel Graveyard Island magee County Antrim

Ballykeel graveyard lies two miles north of Whitehead, on the Low Road, which runs up the west side of Islandmagee. The church, known as St. John's of Ransevyn - an old name for Islandmagee - is mentioned in a document of 1251 but it had been abandoned by 1600 when a new church of St. John was built further north. The ruins of the old church are still visible in the centre of the graveyard.

Headstone Inscription: Here lieth the body of John Brackenridge who departed this life 02 Jan 1763 aged 63 years. Likewise his wife Agnes Brackenridge who departed this life 14 Jan 1794 aged 73 years.

John married Lady Agnes Wright about 1735. Agnes was born in 1721; died on 14 Jan 1794 in Co Antrim, Ulster, Ireland; was buried in Ballykeel Graveyard, Co Antrim, Ulster, Ireland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
