- Elizabeth Ann Sandberg, born in Dallas, TX on September 24, 1949, passed away July 5, 2020 in Sunnyvale, TX. She taught high school and college math for more than 40 years. She had the best laugh and loved hosting parties for her family and friends. She loved to sew and growing up she often made her own clothes. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Ficken, her mother Dorothy Joe (Clayton) Ficken, and brother, William Curtis Ficken. She is survived by her husband, Karl Douglas Sandberg, daughters, Rebecca and Jennifer Sandberg, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Restland Memorial Park at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, July 9th, 2020.
