Hello Sherry...Earl Gentz lived right around the corner from my dad (Jennings Bryan Nobles and my mom Ethel Mae Lane Nobles)...Although I never met them...possibly gone by the time I would remember them..they nontheless were very close to their nephew...At one time my dad and mom right after they married I am told lived with Uncle Earl Gentz and wife and my brother Jennings Bryan Nobles, Jr. "Buster" was born in their home...Right after that our house 544 Pipkin came up for sale with Dad and mom buying the little house...where all of us lived and where my mom died.

Hi Sherry....Earl Gentz was Helen Maude Gentz Nobles (my grandmother) He was her brother if I am not mistaken...or either her father's brother...I never knew him...and they lived not on Pipkin but on a street that intersected Pipkin a block or so away...I think you even see the house from our house...There was an East Pipkin which I think ended at Highland Avenue and then just Pipkin started up again. We lived in the block just west of Highland Avenue across from the old South Park Movie Theatre...I never remember any of the Courts...as being cousins...except my sister who is a lot older saying we were related somehow to the Sparks. (my father was born in 1909 and married my mother May 1927..my brother.Buster was born Feb. 18, 1928 (Uncle Fred Gentz house) and my sister Mae De Lane was born inApril 26, 1930 and another deceased sister Beverly Feb, 1932...at 544 Pipkin and I Sandra was born in Dec. 14, 1943 at maternity hospital in Bmt.
