Tolbert
Nellie M. Tolbert, 57, of Alton, died at 2:47 a.m.Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital
following a short Illness
Housekeeper at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, she was born in Fieldon a daughter of th e Ernest and Ethel (Carrol) Snider, and married Charles L. Tolbert Sr. on Aug. 28,1942 He die d in 1960.
Surviving are a. daughter, Carolyn Parker of Houston, Texas; a son, Charles Jr. of Wood River ; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Eugene Snider of Sylmar, Calif., Darrell Snider o f Pebble Beach, N.J., and Duane Snider of Sunny vale, Calif.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p m Thursday at Gent Funeral Home where services will be hel d at 11 a.m Friday with the Rev. Rudolph Mueller officiating.
Burial will be in Hardin Cemetery and the American Cancer Society has been named as a memoria l.
