Woodrow Dorman
EAST ALTON - Woodrow Wilson Dorman, 82, died at 5 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2000, at
Robings Manor in Brighton.
Born July 27, 1918, in Calhoun County, he was a son of the late Danie and Flora (Snider) Dorm an.
A World War II Navy veteran, he was employed as a wire miller at Laclede Steel, retiring in 1 976, and was a member of the Wood River Eagles.
He married the former Lucille L. D'Amico July 7 1944, in Pittsburgh. She tiled Jan. 9, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and James Krueger of Cottage Hills; a son an d daughter-in law, James and Gracie Dorman of Brighton; three grandchildren, Michael Patric k Butkovich, Dennis Jason Butkovick and Ashley Krueger; three stepgrandchildren, Tammy Cooper , Kathy Smith and Debbie Kruger; a great-grandchild, Camille Harper; and a sister, Doris Tot h of Bethalto.
Two brothers, Ethan and William Dorman, and a sister, Cuba Malley, preceded him in
death.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardin City Cemetery by Rev. Matth ew Richardson.
Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice or Robings Manor Activity Fund.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
