'Jake' Bailey
KAMPSVILLE - Wilson Jacob "Jake" Bailey, 67, died at 10:58 a.m. Monday, March 25, 1991, at Ch ristian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis County.
He owned and operated Hardin Bus Line Inc. for 20 years and was a truck driver for Gateway Tr ansportation in St. Louis.
Born on April 19, 1923, in Gilead, he was the son of the late Wilson and Minnie (Geske)
Bailey.
He and the former Beverly Bennett were married on Aug. 7,1950, in Arkansas.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Pamela Newman of Nebo; four sons, Clifton "Greg" Bailey o f Kampsville, Alan Bailey of Michael and Kip Bailey and Michael Roth, both of Hardin; 10 gran dchildren; a brother, Aubrey Bailey of Hardin; and a sister, Lela Edmiston of Alton.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Bunnie Bailey; a son, Wilson Jacob Bailey II; two sis ters and two brothers.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hanks-Gubser Funeral Home in Hardin, where rite s will be conducted at 7 p.m. by Hardin Masonic Lodge 792.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Estelle Bettis officiating .
Burial is in Hardin Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Parents of Murdered Children.
