At the request of John Watts of CC, the following deed was recorded this Jun 23, 1726.
May 23, 1726 from Mattw Stone of CC, Gent, & Rachel, his wife, to John Watts, late of CC, Merchant, for 6000 lbs of tobacco in cask and 5 £ sterling money of Great Britain and for divers other good causes, all that tract of land, being part of a tract now in the possession and belonging to the sd Mattw Stone, formerly laid out for about 500 acres, lying in CC on the west side of the main fresh of Nanjemy Cr, bounded by a bounded hickory standing near a fork of Clements Street Branch and is one of the dividing trees between sd Mattw & Mr. Wm Stone's land, containing and laid out for about 100 acres. Signed - Mattw Stone, Rachel Stone. Wit - Jesse Doyne, Jno Manning, Wm Stone Jr, Wm Stone*, Thomas Stone*.

May 13, 1747 from Matthew Stone of CC, planter, to Thos Stone Jr (his son) of CC, planter, for the natural love that he has for his said son and 10 £ sterling and for divers other good causes, a parcel of land, being part of a tract of land called Pointon Mannor, lying in CC, and bounded by the divisional bound between sd Matthew Stone and Thomas Matthews, the land of Barton Stone, containing and laid out for about 50 acres. Signed - Matthew Stone. Wit - Robt Hanson, Thos Stone. Rachel, the wife of Matthew Stone, released her dower.
