To dau. Martha Middleton, some slaves.
Children: Smith, James, Ignatious, Mary Hawkins, Sarah Jenkins, Charity Davis and Martha Middleton.
Friend: Walter Maddox.

To my wife Catherine Middleton, 9 negroes and other personalty;during widowhood one third of the following tracts
pt of Jordan, the dwelling plantation; Middletons and Askins Progress; but if she marries, then one third of the land to son Francis Middleton.
To my son Ignatius Middleton, 10 negroes and 14 bought of Edward Jenkins
To my son James, 10 negroes
To my dau Eleanor Thompson, 15 negroes
Son Francis Middleton, 8 negroes
Dau Elizabeth Middleton, 8 negroes
Sister Sarah Jenkins and her 4 daus, Eliza, Mary, Sarah and Charity, personalty
To sons James and Ignatius the dwelling plantation Jordan and Middletons and Askins Progress and all vacant land, reserving one third for use of wife during widowhood; son Ignatius to have pt where mill stands, the other children to have free grinding; son James to have his portion laid out on the land bought of brother Smith Middleton and pt called the old quarters
To son Francis, tract which I have deed of trust from Edward Jenkins; 340 acres bought of John Barton, Ignatius and Henrietta Montgomery called Pyes Hard Shift and also bought of State of MD called Mongomerys Adventure
To son Ignatius Batchelors Hope 108 acres during the life of sister Sarah Jenkins
To wife and children - Ignatius, James, Eleanor, Francis and Elizabeth the residue equally, but if wife refused to abide by this, then after her thirds be paid, the residue be divided equally among sd children.
