"Ferdinan Knupple married his cousin, Alvenia Cook, in 1865 at her uncle's house in Sabine Pass."
Alvenia Cook's mother, Augusta Maass, was sister to William Maass.
"That same year he (Ferdinan Knupple) decided to move with his wife to his parents home at Cook's Bluff, since his parents were 'getting on up in age.'
"Ferdinan's parents, Johann and Louise Knupple, were had come to Texas aboard that ship in 1850."
