Virginia Kay Wagar Barker Collicott, 47, of Beaumont died Saturday, July 24, 2004. She was a native and graduate of South Park High. Her courageous fight against breast cancer (5 recurrences) has been an inspiration to all. Survivors are parents, Martha and William Wagar, 3 sisters, Anita Louise Roney of Katy, TX; Sue Ellen Barker of Humble, TX and Laura Jane Moyer of Beaumont, TX; spouse Rusty Collicott, 3 sons, Tim Barker, Joseph Barker and Steven Barker, all residing in Cheyenne, Wyoming, 3 grandchildren Alex and Alissa Barker and David Jesse Hernandez and 4 nieces and 4 nephews. Memorial service was held in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer organization, or the Diana Price-Fish Breast Cancer organization of Denver, Colorado or the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Virginia Kay Collicott, 47, of Cheyenne died July 24 at Memorial Hermann Hospital near Katy, Texas, after battling breast cancer for the 5th time (2000-2004).
She was born Sept. 13, 1956, in Beaumont, Texas, and had been a resident of Cheyenne for several years.
Virginia worked for the State of Wyoming of Family Services for 21 years retiring in 2003.
She loved to sing and write songs, she enjoyed working with computers, swimming, fishing and hunting.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry "Rusty" Collicott whom she married in 1991; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy and Maria Barker, Joseph Barker and Steven Barker; three grandchildren, Alex Barker, Alissa Barker and David Jesse Hernandez, all of Cheyenne; her parents, William and Martha Wagar of Woodville, Texas; three sisters, Anita Roney of Katy, Texas, Sue Barker of Humble, Texas, and Laura Moyer of Beaumont; four nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
The family of Virginia Collicott would like to thank Dr. Amy Gruber in Cheyenne, Dr. Paul in Denver at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, United Hospice Care in Cheyenne and Dr. Balbastro at Memorial Hermann Hospital near Katy for all their help with Virginia's care.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. on Saturday at Creative Ministries Fellowship.
