- Mayberry HELM was born about 1705* in England. He died in 1790 in Baltimore, MD. He was buried in Old Westminster Churchyard, Baltimore, MD. He married Ann Parrish, b 1702, daughter of Edward Parrish who was born 1669/70 in Anne Arundel Co, Maryland, and immigrated to Maryland, probably from England. He was a Quaker. She was the widow of William Puntany. Her children by Puntany were Mary who married John Howard; William Puntany, Jr., who married Sarah Wooden, John Howard Puntany, and Edward Puntany. She died on 12 Apr 1776, buried in Westminster Churchyard, Baltimore, MD.
Mayberry owned "Parish Fear" in the right of his wife. He was age 77 or therabouts in a sworn deposition in the February Court 1786, Baltimore County, Maryland. He was one of the surveyors of Cole's Harbour, a tract on which "Baltimore Town" s laid out. He owned part of the site after the town was established; he was deeded two acres on 8 October 1753. His will dated 7 September 1789 was probated 10 August 1790; Leonard Helm and John McClellan were executors. [Shenandoah Families - Helm]
