Lula Vick Bordeman, 87, of Beaumont died November 14, 2005 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. A native of Conroe, Texas and resident of Beaumont since the 1930's, Lula was a 1936 graduate of Beaumont High School and a member of Northwood Christian Church. Survivors include sons, Charles W. Bordeman and wife Jo Ann of Beaumont and Harlin R. Bordeman of Crosby; sister, Nettie Belle Vick Thrasher of Beaumont; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark H. Bordeman; parents, Cornelius Vanderbilt and Bessie Lee Pritchard Vick; brothers, Henry Franklin Vick and James Arnold Vick; sisters, Ella Lea Vick Sandoz and Dora Mae Vick Ross; and grandson, Eric Bordeman. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday evening, November 16, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
