"Mrs. Martha OGLESBY, 70, of the Boxville section, died at noon Thursday in the Morganfield hospital. Survivors are five sons, Lester, Charles, and Carrol, of Morganfield, W.E. of Ajo, Ariz., and Pvt. Joe Henry Oglesby, Victorville, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Charles KELLY, Mrs. R.T. BAKER, Misses Lura, Nola, and Prudie Oglesby, of Morganfield; and three sisters, Mrs. T.C. RAYBURN, of Clay, Mrs. Lydia RIGGS, near Clay, and Mrs. Felix CRANOR, Boonville, Ind. The body was taken to the home of Mrs. Rayburn in Clay until time for funeral services, which were held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Pride church, with the Rev. STEWART of Morganfield in charge. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Bordley." Providence Journal-Enterprise, Thursday, December 17, 1942.
