Research Notes |
29 Oct 2014 |
- There is only one two trees on the internet that says he's son of Abraham of Pennsylvania. However, with him being born in Wythe County, it seems doubtful. There is an Abraham in several Quaker records in Pennsylvania and it doesn't sound like this father/son would be a likely scenario.
I had also thought he might be a grandson of Willoughby Jones but that isn't looking likely. There is a slight DNA match of someone in this myself and my paternal 1st cousin; and Willoughby is my maternal side.
Leaving him attached to Willoughby as a grandson, but I really don't think he is.
