- Rt. Hon. William Hill was the son of Rt. Hon. Arthur Hill and Mary Parsons.1 He married, firstly, Eleanor Boyle, daughter of Most Rev. Michael Boyle and Hon. Mary O'Brien.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Mary Trevor, daughter of Mark Trevor, 1st Viscount Dungannon.1 He died between 7 July 1692 and 20 November 1693.1
He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) during the reign of King Charles II and King James II.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ballyshannon between 1661 and 1692.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of County Down.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of County Antrim.1 He had one other son by his second wife.1
