- Elizabeth Jane "Betty" (Jeffers) Halbert
Elizabeth J. "Betty" Halbert, 87, of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday, Janaury 30, 2012 at Hospice of Savannah in Savannah, Georgia.
A native of Orange, Texas, she was a long time resident of Vidor, Texas before moving to Savannah two years ago. Betty was a homemaker, and a member of the Polio Survivors Club.
Funeral services were held at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
Burial followed at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd M. Halbert, son Harold M. Halbert.
She is survived by her daughters Patsy Burnett and husband Tommy, Nancy Rogers and husband David, Becky Hunter, and Phyllis Goats and husband Steve, and Mary Halbert, brother Frank Jeffers, twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
