Hilda Vivian Allen, 93, of Nederland died, Wednesday November 24, 2004 at her residence. Mrs. Allen, a native of Wallisville, Texas was born November 12, 1911. She had lived most of her life in the Mid-County area. She served as a PBX Operator at Pure Oil Company for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nederland. She was also a 50 year member of the Eastern Star Chapter # 1079 in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Broussard's Mortuary 505 12th. St. Nederland. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Broussard's Nederland Chapel with Dr. David Higgs officiating. Interment and graveside services will be at 3:00 pm at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred, Texas. Survivors include several nieces and nephews including Barbara Ainsworth, Clarice Williford, and D'Juana Boykin all of Port Neches, Gary Allen of Brooklyn, Ouida Jo Abshire of Fannett, Maurene Calla way, Greg Bell, and Jimmy Earl Bell all of Fred, Melba Jenkins of Gilmer, Donald Allen of Conroe, Christine Yawn of Port Arthur, Richard Yawn of Silsbee, and Nola Ray Skipper of Liberty.
