  	from Betty Wilson: I've gone back and looked at Jesse?s Revolutionary War papers and he served the first time in place of his nephew Richard Perkins who was married at the time (Dec. 1783). There was another Jesse Oglesby at the time and I think he may have them mixed up, but I don?t know for sure. Also, a descendant from Pleasant Oglesby said there was some kind of comment about Pleasant visiting his brother Jesse or Jesse visiting Pleasant . . . can?t remember exactly what it was.
