- Benjamin was also involved in the Oblong with his brother Nathan. (Oblong is Connecticut panhandle in SW Connecticut where it abuts New York State, subject of some land disputes.
In the Alexander Papers,
(N-YHS collections) is a letter to Benjamin Birdsall on 4 Dec. 1741 requesting payment for property, which payment was then 4 years old.
Deeds, 4:10 and 15:105, (1731), mention him on the Oblong in lots 26 and 62.
He was probably the man noted in a road description in Pawling 16/17 March 1746/7. [SBP 1:343].
