Smith, his uncle Francis M. Smith, his great-grandfather Thomas Court, his great-uncle JOHN COURT, his uncle Fred Court, and his cousin Leslie Earl Simpson. Most all these folks were fishermen or watermen of some sort & NONE of them knew how to swim! That's always bogled my mind! Actually I don't know that for sure abt all of them, but I do know the latter ones to drown did not know how to swim. So who is Fred Court? This confirms John as a s/o Thomas also. Leslie was my Granny's little brother, he was only 16.
