  	Headstone Inscriptions Ballykeel Graveyard Island magee County Antrim Ballykeel graveyard lies two miles north of Whitehead, on the Low Road, which runs up the west side of Islandmagee. The church, known as St. John's of Ransevyn - an old name for Islandmagee - is mentioned in a document of 1251 but it had been abandoned by 1600 when a new church of St. John was built further north. The ruins of the old church are still visible in the centre of the graveyard. Headstone Inscription: Here lieth the body of John Brackenridge who departed this life 02 Jan 1763 aged 63 years. Likewise his wife Agnes Brackenridge who departed this life 14 Jan 1794 aged 73 years.
