  Notes	William or Wellington C. Shrum b 1770-1771 son of David Shrum no death date could be located. there is a document in Rockingham County Courthouse that has the signature of William C. Srum and this is the only reference found on this man. According to relatives in Salem, Indiana, he was a legendary figure in hsitory and was associated with Napoleon and was married to Napoleon's sister. However, there has never been any documents found to verify this statement.
