    I believe we are related. Abraham Randles had a son named Andrew Jackson Randles and he had a son named Abraham. This Abraham had a son named Roy who is my grandfather. Any info you have would be appreciated.

    He was the son of Harriett "Hattie" (Slater) & Abraham Randles (10/30/1831 - 3/29/1937). Roy lost an eye in Illinois due to infection. After he was better the family moved on to Missouri then to Kansas. They are shown as "Randle" sometimes in the Federal Census. Roy married first Mabel, in Colorado,they had 2 daughters; Margaret & Ruth. After Margaret died Roy married Helen, to this union were born Willie "Bruno" and Edith. Roy had 2 sisters; Bertha "Birthie" (Vaughn Mulkey), Pearl, and one brother; William H.Although all the census years show Kansas as his birthplace, Rachael Randles Hromidko says that her grandfather was born in Illinois near Stockton.
