"Jack and Louise's first child Cathy was born with Spinal bifida and lived only 4 1/2 months. My Dad's mother Catherine Hudgens Vance asked they name their child if a girl after her... and they did. My parents were heart broken, and yet within 1 year from Cathy's death they were blessed with my twin sisters, Susan and Linda on Oct 11, 1948."
