  1. 1.  Moses Bonham was born about 1782; died after 1810.

    Other Events and Attributes:

    • Other-Begin: 7 Nov 1783, Frederick Co, Virginia

    Notes:

    Other-Begin:
Frederick Co. VA Deed Book #17, pp 156-157, Aug 29, 1776 between the Right Honorable Thos Lord Fairfax and Elijah Bonham, a lease agreement for Elijah and his family (wife Febe? and daughter Deborah) to live on 100 acres and plant apple trees over all of it, maintenance and pruning.

Frederick Co. VA Deed Book #23, pp 310-313, Aug 4, 1792 - Oct 2, 1892 between Denny Fairfax, lately called Denny Martin of Leeds Castle, County of Kent and Kingdom of Great Britain and legatee name in the last will and testament of the Right Honorable Thomas Lord Fairfax, Baron of Cameron in that part of Great Britain called Scotland and proprietor of the Northern Neck of Virginia and Aron (sic) Bonham, a lease agreement for Aaron (that presumably began Nov 7, 1783 for 250 acres for five pounds per year. Aaron and his family and heirs are to plant and maintain and orchard of 100 apple trees. Also mentions Aaron's son Moses.

(Note from JReedy) Pretty obvious that Aaron and Elijah are related as they have similar deals. I mentioned this Aaron to you quite a while ago - he showed up as a family of 16 in the 1790 Frederick Co. VA census (or maybe it was 1800). Any way, these are all very Biblical names

Moses married Ann Marquis about 1800. Ann was born in 1780; died after 1801. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
