  1. 1.  Jeremiah Bonham was born in 1740 in Middlesex Co, New Jersey; died after 1759 in of, Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co, New Jersey.

    Notes:

    He married Margaret Cook on May 24, 1758, in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. Their children were Mary and Ann. Living in NJ in years 1779-1784, also listed as a taxpayer. A Jeremiah Bonham lived opposite St. James Church in Eaton Town in 1775. He was elected assessor Mar 12, 1776.
    On Oct 6, 1775 the "Committee of Correspondence" met at his home and decided to get the names of all citizens holding arms and also to proceed against riotous negro meetings.

    Jeremiah married Margaret (Cock) Cook on 24 May 1758 in Monmouth Co, New Jersey. Margaret was born about 1740 in of, Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co, New Jersey; died after 1759. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
