Funeral services for Myrtie Mae JONES, 87, of Muldrow were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church in Muldrow, with the Revs. Tommy Jordan and Ken Wolf officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mrs. JONES was born April 16, 1912, in Redland, to John and Myrtle (HOWELL) READ. She died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtie and Betty; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Carol; one sister Marie; one brother Jessie; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. JONES was preceded in death by her husband, James S. JONES; one daughter, Nancy COLLIER: one brother, Merle PATRICK; and one sister, Margie MIDDLETON.
