Dee passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Durant, OK. He attended Tillman School in Fredrick, OK. Dee was an A/C and Refrigeration repairman. He married Laura Frances (Lemke) on September 1, 1945 in Amarillo, TX. Dee was of the Methodist faith he was a former member of the Elks Lodge in Okmulgee and the Moose Lodge in Norman and Mid West City. Slim is preceded in death by his parents, Charley & Mary Stinnett; son, Royce Stanley Stinnett; granddaughter, Janell Lynn Walkingsky; sibling, Tom Nathaniel, Loyd Charley, Harold Calvin, Sidney Euwel Stinnett, Arzella McAlvain, Zonia May Hopkins, Vera Ann Kitts, Era Francess Couey, and Mrs. Cecil Stinnett; sons-in-law, Ray Shelton and Francis Walkingsky.
