    Edley A. Lynn
    farmer, of Boxville Precinct, is son of Elias and Polexina (Below) Lynn. His father, a farmer, born in Virginia, came here in an early day; his mother was a Union County lady; his grandfather, John Lynn, a native of Virginia, was in the Battle of New Orleans, and an early settler of Kentucky; his grandmother, Jane (Penny) Lynn was a native of Ireland; his grandfather, Aaron S. Below, of Logan County, married Sally Richards, a native of Virginia. Our subject was born in Union County February 5, 1839 and attended Union County schools for some two or three years. On December 18, 1856, he married Phebe Ann Jenkins, of Caldwell County. 11 children, two of whom are dead, were born to them. Survivors, James W. married Anne Townsend. The other living children are Elias V, Mary H., William T., Lou Ella, Mark and Luke, twins; Elenor and Phebe Ann...
