Mrs. Vida Jacobs

Dilley -- Graveside services for Mrs. Vida Jacobs, 80, a lifelong resident of the Dilley area, were held Tuesday at the Covey Chapel Cemetery under direction of Hearn Funeral Home of Ctulla. She died Monday in a Dilley hospital.
She is survived by a son, Jack Spruill, Sr., Georgetown, Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Burkes, Dilley, and Miss Myrtle Jacobs, San Antonio, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Vida married Texas Ranger Andrew Jackson "Jack" Spruill on 5 May 1905 in Bexar Co, Texas, and was divorced before 1920 in of, La Salle Co, Texas.
