Also, yes David Carr would be my grandfather's grandfather however, Joe Lawhon, my grandfather was adopted by the Lawhon family in 1910 by Isaac and Alma Lawhon. I don't know much about my biological grandparents but that their names were supposed to be Randolph or Randall or something and they were both Doctors from Ireland. They'd been killed in a car accident I believe in Ft. Worth, Texas. My grandfather Joe was taken into the Edna Gladney Orphanage in that year in Dallas Ft. Worth. It could have been actually 1909 to 1911 but I have Joe's birthday in 1910. My adoptive grandfather Isaac was an Attorney there in Beaumont, Texas and they also adopted Doris, my grandfather''s sister. I do remember my grandfather telling me I had red hair because of our Irish.
